Big flavour without the guesswork

Ready-Made Tandoori Flavour with Less Preparation

Traditional marinade recipes can call for several ingredients, bowls and measuring spoons. We have already combined the seasoning into one dry marinade, so you can prepare chicken without building a marinade from scratch.

No egg, yoghurt, oil, or lemon needed.

Use it for a midweek chicken dinner, a family sharing plate or your next BBQ. You control the chicken cut and cooking method while our prepared blend takes care of the seasoning.

Our family’s home-style cooking inspired the recipes behind Ever East. Founder Ayaz first had the idea in a dream, then turned it into a practical marinade range for cooks who want big flavour without the usual guesswork.

How to Use Ever East Tandoori Masala for Chicken

  1. Place your chicken in a clean bowl or food-safe container.
  2. Apply the dry marinade to the chicken and coat each piece.
  3. For extra grip, add a small amount of water to the chicken before coating. This step remains optional.
  4. Cover the chicken and marinate it in the fridge for 45 to 60 minutes.
  5. Cook the chicken through using your chosen method.

You can apply the marinade directly to dry chicken. If you prefer a wetter surface, add a little water in the bowl rather than washing raw chicken under a running tap.

Keep raw chicken away from ready-to-eat food. Wash your hands, utensils and preparation surfaces after contact with raw meat.

Cooking Your Tandoori Chicken at Home

Choose the method that suits your meal and chicken cut. Cooking times depend on the size, thickness and bone content of each piece.

Air Fryer

Set your air fryer to no more than 160°C. Arrange the pieces with space around them and follow your appliance guidance. Turn the chicken during cooking where your appliance instructions require it.

Oven

Place the coated chicken on a suitable tray and cook according to the instructions for your chosen cut. Bone-in thighs and drumsticks need more time than small boneless pieces.

Pan

Use a suitable pan and manage the heat so the coating does not catch before the centre cooks. Turn each piece during cooking.

BBQ

Cook the chicken over controlled heat and turn it as required. Avoid serving meat that has charred on the outside while remaining undercooked in the centre.

Check the thickest part before serving. The chicken should feel steaming hot throughout, show no pink meat and release clear juices.

Keep the meal mild or add your preferred chutney and fresh salad at the table. Check the pack before serving anyone with allergies or specific dietary requirements.
