Ready made flavour with less preparation

Traditional marinades often ask you to mix spices with yoghurt, oil, egg or lemon. Our dry marinades come ready for you to apply to your chosen meat, fish or seafood.

No egg, yoghurt, oil, or lemon needed.

You spend less time measuring and mixing. The dry format also cuts down on preparation bowls and leftover ingredients, which helps on busy evenings when you want a full-flavoured meal without a long recipe.

Our founder, Ayaz, drew on home-style family cooking when developing Ever East. The original idea came to him in a dream. We carry that family-food spirit through a focused range that helps you cook generous, flavour-led meals at home.

  1. Prepare your chicken, lamb, beef, fish or king prawns with clean hands and utensils.
  2. Apply the marinade to dry meat or seafood.
  3. If you want more help with coating adhesion, wet the surface with a small amount of water first. You can skip this step.
  4. Coat the pieces on all sides.
  5. Leave them to marinate for 45 to 60 minutes.
  6. Cook until the centre reaches a safe temperature and the food has cooked through.

No egg, yoghurt, oil, or lemon needed. Follow the current packet for portion guidance and any product-specific preparation instructions.

Easy family meal ideas

Quick chicken dinners

Use either chicken marinade with breasts, thighs, wings, drumsticks or strips.

Try Southern fried chicken in burger buns with salad, or serve chicken strips in wraps. For a tandoori-style meal, pair masala chicken with rice and vegetables. Wings and drumsticks also suit barbecue tables and party platters.

You can prepare enough for the household without mixing separate wet ingredients. Choose boneless pieces for wraps and rice bowls, or bone-in cuts for a sit-down dinner.

Lamb or beef meals

Coat lamb or beef with Tandoori Masala for Lamb Marinade. Use bite-sized pieces for skewers, thin cuts for wraps or a suitable joint for a family meal.

Serve masala lamb or beef with rice, flatbreads, salad or roasted vegetables. Check the cooking guidance for your chosen cut, since steaks, chops, cubes and joints require different cooking times.

Fish and king prawn meals

Use Tandoori Masala for Fish Marinade with

  • Cod or haddock fillets
  • Salmon or sea bass
  • Tilapia, basa or other white fish fillets
  • King prawns

Serve your cooked fish with rice, salad, flatbreads or roasted vegetables. Add king prawns to skewers, wraps or a seafood rice bowl. Use separate utensils for raw seafood and cooked food.

Air-fried, pan-fried or oven-cooked fish

Fish thickness and seafood size affect the cooking time, so check for doneness before serving.

Air fryer fish

Coat your chosen fish or king prawns and marinate for 45 to 60 minutes. Set your air fryer to no more than 160°C. Leave space around each piece so the hot air can circulate.

Follow the packet and appliance guidance for exact cooking times. Check the thickest part of a fish fillet before serving.

Pan-fried fish

Choose a suitable pan and cook your marinated fish or king prawns over controlled heat. Turn delicate fillets with care and cook seafood through before serving.

A pan works well for sea bass, salmon, white fish fillets and king prawns. Use a clean utensil when you remove cooked food.

Oven-cooked fish

Place marinated cod, haddock, salmon, tilapia, basa or other fish fillets on a suitable oven tray. Cook according to the packet guidance and the needs of your chosen fish.

Oven cooking suits family portions because you can prepare several fillets on one tray. Check each piece, as fillets can vary in thickness.
